The Project Experience

Consulting projects can often be divided into two types. This is a simplification, but one that some clients find useful. In practice, real projects are generally a mixture of both types.

Type 1 - Task Consulting

Here, we are employed to perform a well-defined task, usually using specific skills. This might be to undertake a calculation or a literature review or copy-edit a document. The task usually has a definite timetable.

Type 2 - Process Consulting ( ???)

We begin by listening to issues and concerns of the client. Initially, these may be ill-defined or quite vague.

The first objective is to help the client formulate a definite problem and bring us to a position where a well-constructed proposal can be agreed.

Of course, we do not always arrive at concrete conclusions. But this outcome can sometimes be useful for a client in that issues may have been examined in a new and productive manner.

Once a problem has been identified, we seek a solution in full partnership with the client.

Pricing

We ensure that our charges remain competitive at all times.

Payment is accepted in Pounds Sterling (British Pounds) only, either by electronic transfer to a UK bank or by cheque (check) drawn on a UK bank.

We also accept payment in Pounds Sterling (British Pounds) by means of Paypal, where the invoice to the client is in electronic form.

Time Sheets and Work Reports are submitted to the client daily.
